State DECA Competition Results for 2020-21
Harrison High School students received top honors at the recent State DECA competition. Harrison DECA members earned seven first place awards, six second place awards, and five third place awards. The Arkansas State DECA Competition was held virtually this year with students competing remotely.
Harrison's first place winners were Dayton Atchley, Caden Robertson, and Tyler Fields for the Finance Operations Research event, Tori Hudson and Andrea Byrd for the Financial Services Team Decision Making event, and Ty Eddington and Kira Price for the Entrepreneurship Franchise Business Plan.
Harrison’s second place winners were Bryce Bonds for the Financial Consulting event, Grace Neeley for the Buying and Merchandising event, Alexa Price for the Accounting Applications event, Darenda James and Bailey Brown for the Hospitality Services Team Decision Making event, and Cheyenne Baty for the Automotive Services event.
Harrison third place winners were Luke Lunsford and Deryck Flower for the Business Law and Ethic Team Decision Making event, Isaiah Wallace and Rilee Young for the Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making event, and Mason Smith for the Sports and Entertainment Marketing event.
